I wrote this song last year while I was working at a rehab and assessment centre in New Zealand. 
It was one of the most exhausting jobs I’ve ever had. Our team was small, and I often had to go above and beyond just to keep things moving — and because I care so much about the work, I always gave it everything I had. But it definitely took a toll.

This song came from those moments at the end of a brutal day - when all you want is a little peace and quiet to catch your breath.

These days, I’m lucky to be working in a much bigger hospital here in Hamburg. I still work hard, but I don’t feel that same level of burnout anymore.
That said… give me a glass of red wine after work, and you’ll be speaking my language. :)

Even when it's for a good cause, sometimes when we take on too much it can affect us in a toxic way. 
Balance seems to be the key to just about everything in life, doesn't it Mo?
A lovely tune that I'm sure most of us can identify with.

@Wyndsok yes sometimes my workload can be bit too much at times, but never in a toxic way, I have a great team that I work with nowadays and if one person is feeling very stressed someone will step in to help and take over for the day if needed.
