Always in Love is an atmospheric, minimal piece built around layered vocal textures and a slow, floating structure.
This version is derived from an original work created during the iCompositions era (I first wrote the song in 2007), and has been revisited and reinterpreted over time through different sonic approaches.
The focus here is on softness, space, and emotional suspension—where the voice blends into the texture rather than standing out as a traditional lead.
Inspired by the subtle vocal atmospheres of classic 1970s productions, this interpretation moves toward a more abstract and immersive direction.
This is a raw draft version, not finalized, and is shared here as part of an ongoing creative process.
Hi Christophe,
Thank you for listening and for your comment — I really appreciate it.
Yes, you really captured the feel.
I was inspired by I'm Not in Love for the atmosphere, and also by Art Garfunkel — especially in the vocal work, a bit in the spirit of I Only Have Eyes for You, without copying of course, just keeping the feel and inspiration.
Originally, this track dates back to 2007 — I made it back then on GarageBand and Reason. I recently found it again in my archives with a very raw sound.
So I completely reworked it (sound + orchestration), with quite a few iterations to get the right textures.
