Every New year, on January 1st, it is known as public domain day in the US. It’s the day when a lot of old songs enter into public domain. This year the great song ‘Georgia on my mind’ was one of them. I decided to record it tonight on the spur of the moment, to get back in the mood of recording again. Just some piano improv, messing around. Recorded live on my ipad. I didn’t really mix it or add anything, its two piano patches layered together so it sounds kind of strong.
