I wrote this song in 2011. It was 9th song I posted on iCompositions.

Here in 2025 I have completely redone it. All new instruments. New mix. But still same old melody and for the most part same lyrics

The song is about travelling around the world and meeting all the great cultures. But then there is nothing like the feeling of coming home to your home town in your home country

Vocal is a Synthesizer V vocal that I have spent much time getting as I wanted it. Synth V is not brain dead AI. It is a tool that runs locally. You enter the midi melody and type the lyrics. And then you can tweak all sorts of dynamics and styles word by word till it sounds like you want it. Great tool for a composer.

I believe I have heard your song before, but I  don't remember the details.  It appears a personal song that I liked listening to.  The construction appers to me reminescent of beginning of the new millenium indie pop scene, but with polished arrangement  that sounds good. I was surprized to read that the vocals where by synthesizer V, and had to look it up.The vocals sounds very good and natural to me. It suits the song.
