Hello. I was developing a nostalgia for the original iCompositions site lately and started to miss it ever since the shutdown. After searching for alternative online, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place! 

Now, an introduction:

Ghost Emission is an audio/video project that aims to represent the haunting feeling of how the past echoes and bleeds into the present. The goal is to translate the phenomenon into music and film. I coined the name whilst urban exploring through abandoned buildings and wandering through dead malls. Whenever you enter into these types of places that have been forgotten to time, you can physically sense the history of the structure, and how the spirit of the space lingers long after the building has "died" from disrepair and rot. This feeling is what I would term as a "ghost emission," the left over soul of a forsaken establishment emitting its presence to those who enter its corpse. 

 

The project also focuses on the strange feelings elicited from liminal spaces, childhood nostalgia, and hauntology in general.
